11曲目は「The Rose 」です。作詞:作曲Amanda McBroom 映画"The Rose"の主題歌 （1979年11月公開） Janis Joplin の人生をベースに描いた映画です。主演のBette Midlerが歌い大ヒットしました。たくさんのアーティストがカヴァーされて、テレビドラマ、ジブリ映画の主題歌にもなってます。

夜がとても孤独で 道がとても長くて
愛は幸運で強さだけにあると考えるなら
思い出して冬の厳しい雪の奥深くに眠る種は
やがて太陽の温もりと共に 春にはバラを咲かせる
ピアノ演奏1番は音数が少なめです、2番でフィルインを多めに３番で低音を効かせました、歌も３番でボリュームを上げると良いですね。
